Penipuan Along

SCAM ALERT: Memberi pinjaman wang secara haram dan mengenakan bunga yang sangat tinggi, dan biasanya akan bertindak ganas sekiranya pinjaman tersebut tidak dibayar. Individu ini lebih dikenali dengan panggilan Along atau ceti haram yang mengucapkan kata-kata manis sebelum mangsa membuat pinjaman.

Modus Operandi:
1. Menawarkan pinjaman tanpa penjamin dengan kelulusan segera dan mudah dengan kadar... faedah yang tinggi;
2. Tidak ada perjanjian pinjaman yang ditandatangani antara Along dan juga peminjam;
3. Mengiklankan perkhidmatan mereka dengan menampal kad perniagaan mereka di merata-rata tempat seperti di dinding bangunan, perhentian bas, kedai makan, pusat-pusat hiburan dan sebagainya;
4. Mengedarkan risalah perkhidmatan mereka ke rumah-rumah;
5. Penawaran melalui sistem pesanan ringkas (sms);
6. Iklan berbentuk pinjaman yang mempunyai ciri-ciri islam digunakan. Pekerja-pekerja wanita yang bertudung juga digunakan bagi menyakinkan peminjam bahawa pinjaman tersebut mengikut syariah Islam;
7. Memberikan kemudahan pinjaman melalui kad visa dan mastercard, dimana peminjam yang ingin meminjam boleh mendapatkan wang secara tunai daripada Along setelah ditolak dengan faedah apabila peminjam menggunakan kad mereka di premis Ah Long berkenaan.
8. Apabila mangsa gagal membuat bayaran dan terjerat daripada pinjaman pertama, Along yang lain dari syarikat yang sama akan menghubungi mangsa untuk menawarkan pinjaman bagi menyelesaikan hutang tersebut.

Implikasi
Sekiranya mangsa gagal membuat bayaran sepertimana yang dikehendaki, Along akan mengambil beberapa tindakan bagi tujuan memalukan mangsa di khalayak ramai antaranya menyimbah cat merah ke kediaman mahupun harta benda, menyiarkan atau mengiklankan identiti peminjam di laman sosial seperti facebook dan twitter atau menampal di dinding-dinding dan yang lebih teruk lagi dengan mengurung serta merantai mangsa seperti haiwan.

Orang ramai dinasihatkan supaya mendapatkan pinjaman wang daripada istitusi perbankan yang mempunyai lesen sah diperakui oleh Bank Negara.

Selain itu, dapatkan nasihat daripada mana-mana konsultan kewangan seperti Agensi Kewangan dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK) bagi mereka yang mempunyai masalah kewangan dan bukannya mendapatkan perkhidmatan ceti haram yang hanya meyelesaikan masalah kewangan dalam jangka pendek.See More
