TAPAH MURDER SUSPECTS HELD UNDER PREVENTION OF CRIME ACT


Tapah - A 57-year-oId mechanic and his 20-year-old son, who have been in police custody since Oct 27 on suspicion of killing four missing persons, have been rearrested under the Prevention of Crime Act (POCA) 1959. 

Perak Criminal Investigation Department chief Datuk Goh Kok Liang said the two men had been arrested under Section 3(1) of the Act.

They had been under police remand for investigation under Section 302 over the disappearance of the four men, believed to have been murdered.

The four are land broker Jasbeer Singh, 46, spare parts dealer Ng Chor Kee, 54, bus operator V.Gunawathy, 56, and bus conductor Ng Ah Leng, 36.
