Police will be working with national research and development agency MIMOS to improve the crime reporting system, including making it possible for the public to lodge reports online for non-crime matters like insurance claims and lost documents like MyKads.
Bukit Aman Management Department director, Comm Dato' Sri Zulkifli Abdullah said Mimos was developing a system that would simplify the process of filing non-crime reports online.
The system would make it easier for non-crime reports to be separated from crime-related reports.
