KERATAN AKHBAR PILIHAN: COPS KEEP SIREN ON

Petaling Jaya, 4th July 2023 - Police are on a roll in the Super League after winning four consecutive games, and they are feeling confident of a top five finish.

It may seem lofty but defensive midfielder Fadi Awad feels it is not impossible. The team look optimistic and Awad believes anything is possible.

“I'm happy with the team management, players and coaches, we have a nice camaraderie among each other,” said the 30-year-old Jordanian, who is playing in his second season with the PDRM Football Club.

“We need to get more points in the league and my target is to help the team secure a top-five finish. We have worked hard all season and we deserve that position.”

Earlier this season, the management had aimed for the club to stay in the league or go for at least a mid-table finish.

They have achieved the initial goal as they are currently seventh in the 14-team league, with 22 points, just five points behind fifth-placed Sabah.
