Georgetown, 13th October 2023 - “Give us a chance to investigate (before we reveal anything)."
This was Inspector General of Police , IG Tan Sri Razarudin Husain's response when asked on developments in the probe into former banker Roger Ng, 51, who was extradited from the United States to assist in the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) investigation.

Sri Razarudin said it had only been two days since police started their investigations.
“As I said, there is no fixed time limit (before Ng is returned to the US to serve his 10-year sentence there). We will investigate until we are satisfied.
“This is because the case involves the government and the people's money,” he said after attending the 76th Marine Police Remembrance celebration at the marine police base in Batu Uban here.
