Shah Alam, 3th July 2024 – Police seized over RM1.97 million in drugs after detaining three men and a woman following an antidrug operation spanning five days.
Police Chief of Selangor, CP Dato’ Hussein Omar Khan said police first arrested a husband and wife driving a lorry near Puchong Jaya last Thursday.
“A team from the Serdang Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (NCID) stopped the lorry and found seven sacks of soil being transported.
"They checked the sacks and found five packets of Chinese tea which contained 57.6kg of syabu inside,” Dato’ Hussein said that the man tested positive for tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
Meanwhile in an unrelated case, Hussein said police from the Selangor NCID arrested a man at 4.45pm last Saturday after a check revealed 10 plastic packets containing heroin in his car.
