The Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) hopes to emulate some of the successes of Saudi Arabia in the war against drugs, which includes setting up a one-stop call centre and state-of-the-art training facility.
NCID director Comm Dato' Seri Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff, who led a delegation on a week-long working visit to the kingdom last week, said he was impressed by proactive measures taken by the Saudi General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC).
Comm Mohd Mokhtar expressed deep appreciation to the Saudi Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister Prince Mohammed Nayef, who is also the Interior Minister, and GDNC director-general Major-Gen Ahmed Saadi Al-Zahrani for their hospitality and input.
