Seven people, six men and an Indonesian woman were remanded yesterday for allegedly kidnapping a moneychanger here last week.
The seven, aged between 20 and 30, have been remanded until Sunday to assist in the investigation.
Penang police Criminal Investigation Department chief Datuk Razarudin Husain confirmed the case but declined to elaborate.
"The investigation is ongoing and several others are still at large. "We cannot reveal much at this point" he said yesterday," said Datuk Razarudin.
