Dalam tempoh 13 hari, 885 kilogram (kg) daun ketum bernilai RM132,750 dirampas Pasukan Gerakan Am (PGA) Batalion 1 Ulu Kinta, Perak, dalam Op Wawasan Kedah/Perlis.

Timbalan Komander PGA Briged Utara, ACP Mohamed Rafiq Mohamed Mustafa berkata, sehingga 13 Oktober lalu, pihaknya berjaya merampas daun ketum dalam tiga serbuan berasingan di sekitar Perlis.

“Pertama, pada 8 Oktober, serbuan dilakukan anggota PGA di pondok kosong di Felda Mata Ayer, Padang Besar (Perlis) menemui sembilan guni daun ketum seberat 270 kg. Nilai rampasan sebanyak RM40,500.
